The Long View Public School campus spans approximately 4,367 square meters on Raj Bhawan Road, Tallital. On the facilities side, there are science and computer labs, a library, an auditorium, and smart classrooms. For sports, the school covers both indoor and outdoor — cricket, football, basketball, table tennis, and chess are all part of the mix. A gym, sick room, and medical facility are available on campus. The boarding house is for boys, and CCTV cameras are in place to keep an eye on things. One thing to note though — the classrooms aren't air-conditioned, and there's no swimming pool

At Long View Public School, teaching isn't stuck in one style. It's a mix of the traditional and the tech-savvy — smart boards and digital classrooms are part of everyday lessons, and project-based learning helps kids connect what they study to real-life situations. The idea is to move away from plain rote memorization and get students thinking, questioning, and solving problems on their own. And it's not all academics either. Debate, drama, music, and art all feature in the school calendar, along with dedicated clubs for Science, English, Music, and Eco-related interests. Inter-school competitions give students yet another stage to

Verified CBSE board examination results for Long View Public School are available from multiple years. In 2026, 42 students appeared for the Class X examination and all passed, with school topper Keshav Sharma scoring 94.4%. In 2025, Ayushman Pacholia topped the school with 97%. In 2024, Garvit Tamta achieved 97% as the school topper.

Since Long View Public School only goes up to Class X, there's no campus placement to talk about in the usual sense. What the school does instead is get students ready for the next step — senior secondary schools and colleges after their Class X boards. And honestly, the boarding setup itself does a lot here. Living away from home pushes boys to handle things on their own and own up to their responsibilities — and that makes moving to a new school or college far less of a shock. The school also runs career counselling and mentorship, which helps

Long View Public School opens its doors to international students, which gives the campus a genuinely diverse feel. And then there's the location itself — tucked away in the Himalayas in Nainital, it's the kind of place where outdoor learning and environmental activities happen naturally, not just as a timetable slot. The school has also picked up some recognition along the way, including the North India School Merit Award 2026 in the High Happiness Quotient Schools category. On top of that, the principal, Bhuwan Chandra Tripathi, received the Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan National Principal Award 2026. Together, these recognitions say something
