The Jaswant Modern Senior Secondary School campus sits on Rajpur Road, spread across a little over 10,000 square meters. The grounds are well-maintained, and parents have specifically mentioned how neat and green the campus feels. There are 55 classrooms and 8 labs. The school also has a library, auditorium, and a cafeteria. For boarders, the Kailash Boarding House provides accommodation. A medical room and sick bay are on-site. Sports and outdoor play areas are part of the setup, giving kids room to move around after class hours.

At Jaswant Modern Senior Secondary School, things run on structure. And consistency. Class sizes hover around 30, and teachers follow the CBSE framework. The school's mission statement talks about developing a secular outlook and working on all dimensions of a child's growth — academic, physical, creative, and moral. Worksheets and holiday homework are part of the routine, keeping students engaged even during breaks. For boarders, evening study support is built into the schedule, so there's a rhythm to the day rather than last-minute cramming.

Jaswant Modern Senior Secondary School has a history of steady board exam performance. A message from the principal notes that the Class XII batch of 2019-2020 did very well, keeping up the school's "tradition of the past years by showing an excellent result". That kind of continuity matters — it suggests the school isn't just producing one good year and fading. The CBSE affiliation is valid till 2028, so the academic setup is stable. Year-wise percentages aren't put out publicly though. If you want the latest figures, just ask the school directly.

Jaswant Modern Senior Secondary School runs up to Class XII, so campus placement in the usual sense doesn't apply here. What the school does offer is a solid foundation for the next step. Students leave with a CBSE senior secondary qualification that opens doors to colleges and professional courses across India. The school's location in Dehradun — a hub for education — means students are already in a city with plenty of options for higher studies. For boarders, the structured environment helps them build the study habits they'll need after school ends.

What stands out about Jaswant Modern Senior Secondary School is the balance. It's a day school with a boarding house, so boarders aren't isolated — they're part of a larger student community. The Kailash Boarding House gives them a structured living setup with meals, laundry, and evening study support. The campus has a mix of old architecture and open space, sitting in a spot that's close enough to the city but not stuck in traffic. And the school's been around since 1949, which means generations of Dehradun families have walked through its gates. That kind of staying power says something.
